windows 98 password

my friend has windows 98 on her pc and she has a password
on to log into it but her son (who she doesnt want to go
on to pc)has found a way of bypassing the password. he
just types in wordshark and it lets him onto pc. is there
any way to stop him doing this.the pc is a packard bell
about 8 years old.if anyone has any solutions to this i
will be very thankful.if any one has a solution to this
could they please email the answer to me as well as
posting it here
