CANNOT INSTALL LEXMARK X75 PRINTER

IT ALL STARTED WHEN I RESTORE THE WINDOWS XP. I RECENTLY INSTALLED MS OFFICE
FOR XP AND WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL MY LEXMARK 3 IN 1 PRINTER THE FOLLOWING
ERROR MSG IS SHOWING

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT
THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNING MS-DOS & MICROSOFT WINDOWS
APPLICATIONS

ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. PLEASE HELP
