Dear Group, happy new year! mayne you can help me interpret this error message.

I have XP Pro with myself and dear son as administrators. My wife and
daughter have their own limited user accounts.

Dear son had a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 as a xmas present and installed it
on the computer. When my Wife and Daughter sign in now, as soon as the
desktop has loaded they get a little "Error access denied" box appear. If
you click on it 6 or 7 times it goes away.

I changed wifes account to administrator and the message didn't appear! I
changed her back to limited user and there it was again!

I started the managment Console, deleted all the error and warning messages
and repeated the whole procedure, there were then only 2 messages in the
Console, here they are,,,,

Description:
Windows saved user HAL9000\Martin registry while an application or service
was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's
registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no
longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try
configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService
account.

Can anyone here offer any advice, is it just co-incidence that this happened
after installing the Quickcam?

Many Thanks
