Changing order of startup programs

I recently installed Norton Internet Security on my new Toshiba Satellite A60
laptop. The problem is, it connects to the internet (WLAN) before it
initiates Norton. My old computer initiated Norton before connecting to the
internet, providing more complete safety. How can I change it so Norton comes
up before it initiates the LAN?
