Applications Not Starting in Windows XP Home Edition
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I recently loaded my new verions of TurboTax 2004 to start my tax
preparation. After installation the program would not launch. I finally
disabled all the applications on the Startup menu and was able to get it
running. There are a couple of other applications that fail to run as well.
Any suggestions on how to configure Windows XP Home Edition so that it will
run this and other applications without disabling all the Startup
applications?
