Dear Experts,
I thank you all for your suggestions and your effort in writing back.
I guess, this happened after I meddled with services. When I checked the
event log, it said
"Computer Browser" service was timed out and the service was not running.
Mine is a standalone computer with out any network sharing, so I disabled
"Server" and "Workstation" service. Could this be the reson for shutdown
problem.
