Bad Block AND event system error

hey, my computer seems to have totally malfunctioned and I don't know why. My
error log shows the problem on my disk is: /Device/Harddisk/O/D and another
problem is the event system which suggests contacting the microsoft people,
which i have done to no response. I need help desparately but am completely
computer inept. I also can't use the internet on my computer or any other
program except from the system utility configaration (I've already tried safe
mode to find any problems and those are the ones I found). So if you can
leave me any answers i'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
