I just installed SP2 (couldn't do it earlier because of hard-drive
limitations) on my notebook. Now I cannot boot to any mode at all. All I
get is two pop-ups about LSASS.EXE failing to initialize and then nothing at
all. No desktop, no task-bar, no disc activity. I can't even boot to the
command prompt. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
I know LSASS.exe is tied to a worm, but I am/was running Symantec AV and was
religious about all updates (except for SP2 because of size).
Thanks,
Brian
