Hi,

Example: You want a text file of the contents of the C:\music folder and all
its subdirectories

Start/run cmd, type:

C:\Documents and settings\<username>>CD\
C:\>dir> music /s> music.txt

Now on the root of C: you will find a music.txt file that lists all the
subdirectories and files within each.
