This is an error in the WMI, and is probably security related. Windows
Management Instrumentation is the part of the system that controls remote
access to the system.

I would suspect some virus or Trojan, but you might try refreshing the
system files to repair a potentially damaged WMI. To repair all system
files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
