Joy, if by "not registered" you mean that you have a pirated copy of
Windows XP Professional on your PC that we block from updates etc, then you
bought a laptop with Home Edition. You then currently have a laptop with a
valid license and a PC that is not licensed to use Windows XP at all.
You may not just install your laptops copy of Windows XP Home on your PC,
and you should purchase a full retail copy of Windows XP Professional for
your PC and perform a repair install.
