Well, you can just go ahead and try running the SP2 setup routine. However,
there's no guarantee that all your hardware will work with SP2 as it does
substantially change the operating environment. By the same token, dated
drivers might cause SP2 to choke during setup, thus preventing its
installation or causing serious file corruption that might force at the very
least a repair install of the original setup and in a worst case scenario
require formatting and starting over from scratch.
