I installed XP Service Pack 2 and now when I go to shut down the Dell
computer I get a message saying "installing update 1 of 1", please wait.

Well, I waited an hour and nothing. The screen is frozen. I have to unplug
the computer to get it to turn off.

Is this because of the recent security updates? or some other problem. This
is happening on both Dell Dimension computers that I installed the XP Service
pack 2 update on.
