I have two XP Pro SP2 machines. I can use Remote Desktop to logon to the
target machine and it works just fine. The problem arises when I disconnect
from the target machine. On that target machine it is locked from the the
user that was on remotely. Is this correct? If I try to logon as a
different user physically on the target machine I get an error 'Your
interactive logon privilege has been disabled. Please contact your System
Administrator'. So, I have to then logon to the target machine as the same
user that logged on on remotely.
What I was thinking that Remote Desktop could help with is some Admin tasks,
I could logon to the machine remotely, do what I need to do and then logoff,
giving control back to the user of the target machine. But the above problem
will not allow this scenerio.
Thanks in advanced to any insight.
