Hi

Do you mean 40 GBs hard disk space, not memory? What have you installed
onto your hard disk that 'may' have taken up 18 GBs? You will have to allow
'about' 3/4 GBs for the formatting of the hard disk.

>From a command prompt type the following:

cd\
dir /a/s

What does the line 'bytes free' report
