Hello Sam,

If you account has a password on it you can hit Winkey + L and it will bring
you back to the log in screen so you will have to log in again, but it will
keep all your programs running and such. Or you can set your screen saver
to resume on login, which will basically bring you to the log in screen
every time the screen saver in engaged while keeping all your programs
running.
