Backweb is spyware and should be removed.

To remove Adware, Malware, & Spyware that might be residing in your computer
and making it run slow.

Here are some free tools to do this and you need to run more then just a
couple before you decide that they didn't work.

After downloading these always click on update to get the latest
definitions.

For last 1 month I haven't been able to install or uninstall any program on
the Windows XP system (windows install hangs up everytime).
I also haven't been able to download Windows update or virus dat file as the
download can never complete. Now I can't use my CD-RW either.
I did a local virus scan w/ McAfee as well an online scan but it can't find
any virus.
I get Invalid Backweb application id 137903 error when I restart the
computer but this doesn't seem to be a the cause per MSDN.
Please help as my computer is almost unusable and getting worse. Thanks in
advance.
