I just installed the service pack last night and liked the idea that it had a
pop-up blocker included. Once I began using the NEW and IMPROVED, I quickly
decided I didn't like it. I chose the option of it blocking ALL pop-ups and
guess what? I have MORE pop-ups than I EVER had before. Even on websites (3
main ones I use frequently) that I NEVER had pop-ups from, are all chock full
of them. I've gone through the headache of attempting to block many of those
annoying pop-ups by blocking them in "restricted sites", but no such luck.

I would gladly go back to the "oldie but goodie" but fear further problems.
>From reading other post, previous backups disappeared from the system, which
seems to be a problem for me also. Any previous backup saves are completely
gone.

Any suggestions on getting back all the old without problems/gliches? I
consider myself pretty knowledgable when it comes to the computer but I guess
I was wrong considering I figured this update was really for SECURITY issues,
when it comes down to it...it appears to be more of a partnership/sales
technique con job. Anyone with me on that?

Anyone know how to get out of this mess, and have a "secure" pc without all
the garbage included in this service pack?

Thanks, Jen
