1) You cannot be logged in as the user whose data you are trying to copy.
2) Reboot and log in as a different user.

Don't copy NTUSER.DAT - if there is anything "corrupt", you don't need/want
this file. It contains the registry data for the user (screen layout,
personal application settings, etc) - but nothing that you cannot just
recreate on the fly in most cases. Just grab the important stuff to you -
favorites, my documents, etc.
