i got the exact same error
and i am told it has something to do with the cd roms and no one can figure
out why- not even microsoft
i was told to:
update bios
update drivers if there are any for the cd rom(s)
if there are not- uninstall then reinstall the driver
i plan to try to put back sp2 tomorrow- i did all this and see if the error
msg goes away
