Hi,
I have XP Pro, MSI KT6V mobo and Aureal vortex 2 with the newest windows
update audio drivers.
I previously had a Windows 2000 Pro and the sound card worked fine. But now
it just does not play anything. For example in the media player it looks like
it tries to play the mp3 for a few seconds and then it stops for a second or
two and repeats the same pattern over and over again. Same problem with the
Winamp.

Device manager says that my sound card works fine...no errors
anywhere....exept no sound ?!
