Helpsvc

I am on XP-home SP1, 120MB RAM, P4.

I am finding helpsvc starting on its own, and eating up CPU usage upto 100%.
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 839017 (Help and Support causes Windows
XP to stop responding) mentions a hotfix. How do I get the hotfix? Please
tell me the URL.
I don't want to get SP2 right now :-)

One more question. Kindly advice if I can kill the process helpsvc from
within task manager, once it starts on its own free will? Or, if I do so,
would XP behave in some other chaotic fashion either immediately after, or
during next boot?

Thanks,

A. Banerji
