Hi, i've been using windows XP Pro on my computer system for about a year now
and since i've installed it, it has always caused my system to crash after
about 30-45 mins of use. At first i thought that this was probably a
stability thing and it would take some tweaking to get it right. But after
about a year i shouldnt still be having this problem.
To explain exactly what my computer does, after about 30 mins of use i the
system completely locks up. It could be in the midde of a task and sometimes
its just sitting idle. Which leads me to believe its not really a program
that i'm running thats causing the crash. Although it could be a spyware
program that i havent detected. I've used multiple programs and virus scans
to try to locate a problem but nothing has solved it. I've tried installing
updates, driver updates, removing conflicting devices, defragging even.
I'm currently completely at a loss as to what to do to try to remedy this
problem any advice anyone could give me would be a great help. Maybe i have
something configured incorrectly that i've overlooked. I'm currently
running WinXP Pro SP2, IE6
