Don't know whether or not you've done the XP "reinstall/repair" yet, but: be
sure to back up your registry (see "help") first and remove the following
file from windows\system32\"Undo_guimode.txt" if it is there:
Undo_guimode.txt will cause deletion of your non-system files during a
"reinstall/repair" of XP. Now. Just delete "Undo_guimode.txt" NOT WINDOWS OR
SYSTEM32. I'm not yelling. Just making sure you don't think I mean to delete
the entire operating system!
