You're right about it being nasty. My dad's computer had the same problem. It
eventually infected Mcafee and then it kept programs from opening. Eventually
Windows said the paging file was too small, which is impossible with 2.5 gigs
to use as paging. Have you tried Spybot S&D? Also, try to see if it created a
system startup entry. Start> Run> msconfig. Then click the startup tab to see
if it's there. Uncheck it if it is, then scan for it.
Hopefully you can get rid of it.
