Partition Magic is only part of the solution.
You should have a set of rescue floppy disks, which one creates after
installation, or can be done simply by inserting the PM CD in any PC and
choosing to create the rescue disks.
Use these to boot up the PC with a new HDD installed, then format etc.
You may then be able to copy Partition from the 'bakcup' drive to new drive.
It is my understanding that this may not work and that it will only be a
function that you can perform after Windows is up and running.
To have an 'Image' on Hard Disk that one can use to 'Restore' and make a
system fully operational in half an hour or so, one needs the companion
product 'Drive Image'. This product permits compressed 'imaging' of a hard
drive or full cloneing.
