SP2 update & a really weird problem

I installed the Win XP (Home) SP2 update last night with NO major problems,
however....I've noticed that my windows now inactivate themselves. Happens
when I'm either on the Net or running other Windows programs. Anyone got any
bright ideas about how I can keep my windows alive? It's rather aggravating,
especially when I'm in the middle of typing a lengthy post at a message
board, or chatting away on IM.
