cant activated xp home...

I bought myself a new pc.. put everything together.. and installed win xp
home.. everything worked fine.. and I was able to activate windows.. but then
I found out that I had not split the HD into two parts.. only a C:/... so I
"fragmented??" the PC and re-installed windows.. but when I was suppose to
activate windows it said my key had already been used.. and now I've only got
29 days left using windows.. any suggestions?
