Hi Smed,

Though you can download and save the individual updates locally from Windows Update catalog, even better option is to download Windows XP SP2 which is a Cumulative update.

Windows XP Service Pack 2 Network Installation Package is already available ( >260MB download)

Optionally: You can slipstream SP2 with XP and create an XP CD integrated with SP2. Then backup your personal data and do a clean install.Slipstreaming SP2 with XP requires the XP retail CD-ROM or the source files in the hard drive. my brother just bought a new computer...  top of the line machine... or at
least it could be... he doesn't have an internet connection and doesn't plan
on getting one... (am i the only one who thinks thats weird? thats like
having a telephone thats not hooked up; sure you can push the buttons, but

he wants me to come over next week to help him out with some stuff... is
there anyway i can download the latest updates from Windows and save them on
a disk for him?... i have a cable connection and also running XP but
whenever i update its all automatic and i dont have a setup .exe to put on a
disk...
im NOT trying to make a profit on this just trying to help out my family.
