what is monitor.exe

Hi there
When ever I start up my computer, once XP has opened the
first thing I see is a warning about 'cannot find
monitor.exe' Once I've clicked OK it disappears and
doesn't seem to cause any problems, but what is it and
why can't it be found? Can I stop it happening?
