Hello, I hope someone can help.

My browser (IE) recently started making an
annoying 'ping' or 'drip' sound when I visit web pages.
It only does it intermittently, as if some element on the
page is triggering it to make some kind of awareness
raising sound. Any ideas what it is and how I can turn
the darn thing off?

Thanks for your help,

Gareth
