The 5th point in Jupiter Jones' message should have read "the new OS is crap
and no one should touch it".
I say the new OS because that is what it is despite Microsoft's insistence
to call it SP2.
The new operating system consisting of 2,933 files and 308 directories is
about about 342,132,100 bytes when expanded normally. The files also
contains other zipped files which I haven't bothered to count yet. It is
named SP2 because MS cannot market it as a new OS or upgrade Windows XP
otherwise nobody
would touch it. MS is determined to have its new products used by loyal
supporters of MS like yourself.
In most organisations, installing a new OS requires high level meetings
after meetings. For anyone intending to use PC as a business tool should
stay away from the latest incarnation from Microsoft Corporation. Best
thing is to wait until MVP guinea pigs have tested this throughly.
