Windows XP Home Edition SP2 Error

After SP2 got done installing the SP2 files on my computer an error message
popped-up saying "Access is Denied." It then uninstalled SP2 because the
installation failed. Is there any way I can fix this? I am using Windows
XP Home Edition SP1 by HP.
