Problem with Links Bar

I just started to have a very annoying problem whenever I reboot my
computer. The shortcuts on my links bar/list are being alphabetized without
my utilizing the "sort" command. I put all the links in the order I want
and they're fine until there's a reason to reboot. Then, when I bring up
the browser, the links are all alphabetized again. Frustrating. I'm
running Windows XP on a Dell 8300 and this has never happened before in the
year I've had this system. Can anyone help? Thanks.
