To completely remove Windows Messenger
in the Start/Run menu, copy and paste
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
and ok the OCX error, then reset ya machine, it won't be there then, also if
you decide to get it again, get MSN Messenger (V6.2 I think is the latest
version), it is much better than Windows Messenger
