OK ready? Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Look under local
users and groups. Under users right click on Administrator and go to member
of tab. Make sure Administrators and Network Configuration Operators are
listed, if not add them. Next go to the Groups and check that the
Administrator account is listed in the Administrator group and Network
Configuration Operators, if not add it. After done close all windows and
reboot. WARNING DO NOT CHANGE ANY PASSWORD DURING THIS OPERATION. After
reboot check all the accounts again. You can also check the new account you
gave Admin rights to while in Manage and see if your Administrator account
has at least the groups listed in that account.
