Have you tryed running the compatibility wizard from the
CD? It may give you a clue as to what's happening. I know
that Norton's GOBACK does this(experience). Could be
others too. If you are going to reformat anyway, un-
install any programs that compatibility wizard reports as
having trouble running with XP.
