Open your BIOS and disable the "Wake on Ring" and/or
"Wake on LAN" feature.

|I have recently purchased a PC and set it up a couple of days ago. However, I have this one problem which I,
or anyone I know, has experienced.
|
| About 5-10 hours after I have shut down the PC I find that it has switched itself on and booted up again.
This has occurred on four occassions now, at night and during the day, when nobody else is around. The PC
loads up to the front XP "user" screen.
|
| I have not installed any "unusuall" software. The eTrust antivirus software the was pre-installed on the PC
has not found anything suspicious either.
|
| Any help would be appreciated!
