Some program that you have install is trying to connect to the internet for
some reason. This may be a web update or a dialer worm. Look in msconfig for
a suspicious program. Run adaware free off the web. Jym

Even if I'm offline and I do NOT initiate internet connection, I get an
intrusive popup that keeps telling me that "Cannot find server - Microsoft
Internet Explorer" and "Work offline - no connection to the internet is
currently available". It's driving me crazy. Everywhere I've checked
information has been that this is regarding synchronizing my network
files...this is my home computer, no network, no need to synchronize!!!
Does anyone have a solution or ever had this problem??? Thanks.
