Try booting to Safe Mode and going to Display Properties / Settings /
Advanced / Monitor / refresh rate to 65 or 75. Jym

into my system and switched it on. The initial system info comes up followed
by the Windows XP home screen. Then the screen goes blank followed biy a
small message box telling me VGA MODE NOT SUPPORT at the bottom of the box
there is written H: 35.4 KHZ V: 86.8HZ. Now the box which the screen came in
says that the Max Resolution is 1024x768 @75KHZ. Is there an easy fix to
this as I am not really techy minded. Although I can follow simple
instructions.
