I have been using the Remote Desktop Protocol to login to
my computer at home from work for a while now and it just
recently just stopped working. I have verified that my
router is set to forward correctly (port 3389), I have
verified that the Host is actually set up correctly on my
XP Pro station, and I have verified that I am indeed
trying to connect to the correct external IP. The only
thing that has changed at all on this station is that I
recently loaded about 2 months worth of Critical Updates
that I had missed. Did one of the Critical Updates over
the last couple months enable something that is causing
this not to work now?
