Boot Magic should not mess up your Master Boot Record.
Boot your computer with the Boot Magic diskette you created when you
installed Boot Magic and have it make the repairs.
If that doesn't work boot your computer with the Windows XP CDROM.
Choose the Repair (Recovery Console) option. When it stops at the
command prompt enter the following command:
FIXMBR
That should resolve the problem, although you may have to then reboot
the computer using the Boot Magic diskette in order to recover your
Boot Magic menu etc.
Good luck
