Hi,

You will need to check the service pack setup log (C:\Windows\svcpack.log). if in the log you see a line that points to the following HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{5B9169C0-DB65-42AA-A38A-0726846AAEB3}

Start ,Run,Regedit go to hkey_localmachine\software\microsoft\windows\currentVersion\windowsUpdate \auto update\resetau
Right click on ResetAU and properties, need to make sure that the Administrators group and System account have full access for the key this registry key and those contained below it.

If your on NTFS need to make sure that the temp location where all the sp1 files are extracted to have full access for system and administrators

thanks

lavan
