Ricky,
I saw this posting and I don't think this is the trouble...the symptoms do
not match. In the Microsoft article they describe a system that hangs right
after the power on self test and will not boot at all in safe mode.
This system DOES display the windows bootup screen but when it would
normally go to the deskop we get a black screen with a mouse pointer THAT
STILL MOVES when you move the mouse. Also, the system works normally in
safe mode but does NOT work in safe mode with network (even with the network
cable pulled).
