Windows XP Pro IE crash when downloading anything

    I am going cray here!
    After a fresh install of XP Pro,SP1 and all relevent drivers(NAV2004 PRO)
    I find that I can surf the web fine(cable modem) but when it comes to downloading anything
    over 300k the computer just hangs and I then need to reboot..

    There are no errors upon startup or anything that I can see that would be causing this...

    Can someone please help me??
