Mitch the monitor is garbled there all so. I have changed the refresh and resolution settings. any more suggestions???????????????

I would check your BIOS for any monitor settings you
migth be able to change (namely Refresh Rate), but if oyu
need to access dos, use the Command Prompt found in
windows. Start>Run> Type "cmd"
