Hi,

It is difficult to tell this is the exact problem. I will suggest few steps
which may help in fixing the problem.

1. Check if your OS is applied with latest SP (SP1 for XP).
2. Check if you have installed antivirus with latest updates.( in case if
you have any virus)
3. Check if you have updated all the critical updates. (go to
www.windowsupdate.com).

I believe this should fix the problem you have. Reply back if the problem
is not resolved with more details.
