my widnwosxp is acting really strange. i'm connected to internet via cable
modem (motorola surfboard 5100) and i'm sharing this conection to my other
computer over network card, but the problem is that the network conection
goes down randomly, fe. it works for 2 days (only picking up mail) and after
it when i try to download something bigger fe 5mb or try to browse web for
longer time the cable mdoem only sends packet and is not receiving anything,
to fix it i have to restart all network services (dhcp, iprip,Nla,) or
reboot my pc. the cable operator told me to check my system but i have fresh
instalation of winxp pro+sp1+all other critical udpates and all necessary
services are running also the pc is working fine the modem is connected to
usb (tried it with ethernet conection and the same problem) and all drivers
are ok. so what is going on? any ideas?
