Did some one get back to you about this problem? I am in the same situation. It would appear that there is a hidden drive that holds this info but I have not found a way to recover/recreate the drive without reinstalling the product.

Let me know

Thanks

Hi, I have winXP Pro and its all updated from the Micrsoft update site.

The Problem is, I try to install software or a game or anything and I keep getting this error that says ( ERROR 1327. Invalid Drive: E:\ )

Ok I dont have a drive E, just the hard drive C:\ and The cd-rom drive D:\

I start the install process and before it gets to the first prompt it gives me this error. I have been beating my head for days on this. I even went into registry with Norton Utilities and tried to find a way to clean junk out or any invalid files etc and still no change.

Please ... I am really at a loss here. Thanks in advance
