I got the same problem:
I got 3 computer on the net: one xp (192.168.0.1 - 255.255.255.0) and 2 windows 2000 computers (192.168.0.2/3 - 255.255.255.0).
if i turn on one of the windows 2000 computer before the xp computer then the xp computer can't reach the net.
if the xp turn on first then he can use the network but cannot access to the 2000 computer (the windows 2000 can read & wtire files to the xp computer without any problem):
"\\Shani is not accessible.... the server is not configured for transactions"
i try everything (sharing diffrent folder, give access to user with or without password and much more...)
Anybody ??? please ???
